Rule 7
Licensor

(1) The chief district officer shall issue a license in accordance with rule 6 and after examining all other necessary matters, taking the required fee and according to schedule 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 10 according to the situation. A license should be issued. But according to clauses (e) and (f) of Rule 5, the Chief District Officer should issue the license only with the prior approval of the Government of Nepal.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written in sub-rule (1), the following shall be done in the following cases:-
(a) In the case of arms and ammunition travel license (Journey Licence), to obtain the necessary license from the relevant foreign government or embassy, ​​the licensee (License Holder) should take the necessary details and fifty rupees fee and send it to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs along with his application and his recommendation.
(b) In the case of the purchase license (Purchase License) for the purchase of arms and ammunition from abroad, the chief district officer shall carry out the necessary checks and issue it according to the rules. It should be sent in writing to the Ministry of Home Affairs. The Ministry of Home Affairs will also take necessary action to obtain such a license if it deems it necessary to withdraw it. After obtaining such a license, the arms and ammunition must be purchased and sold within the license period. If it has arrived, it should be registered within fifteen days according to this regulation and a license (license) should be taken. ) should be filed with the Chief District Officer within a fortnight of the expiry date. If the Ministry of Home Affairs deems it necessary to extend the deadline for giving notice within the deadline as written above, it may extend the necessary deadline. For not granting extension or meIf an extension has been granted, the extension license will automatically be revoked after the expiry of the extension period.
(3) The authority issuing the license issued in accordance with this rule must give it to the district administration office and the district police office of the district where the person receiving the license has permanent residence within thirty days.
(3A) After receipt of cash according to sub-rule (3), the concerned office shall keep a record of the same.
(4) In the application of the holder of the license (license), the name of one retainer (retainer) of the said firearm may be mentioned in the license by taking the additional fee according to the license (license) fee required in accordance with this regulation. Each time the name of the bearer is changed, an additional fee will be charged as per this sub-rule.
